Farouk Ramzan is the founder of Arrowz. With a background in behavioral economics and cognitive behavioral therapy, he originally designed the “informal logic system” behind Arrowz’s guided journaling system and created the emotion dictionary. In his free time, he writes articles on the ethics of political decisions, which are regularly published in The Vanderbilt Hustler and The Tennessean. He is also a business operations member of the Vanderbilt Fusion Project, the world’s first undergraduate-led mini nuclear fusion initiative. As part of this role, he has presented the fusion reactor at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Sandia National Laboratories energy conference. At Arrowz, Farouk now focuses on developing long-term strategies and gathering data to refine the app’s design continually. He is pursuing a career in product management.
