Marketing Team Member

Claudia is a researcher at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she examines the long-term trajectories of NICU graduates through the lens of health equity. Her current work focuses on synthesizing existing literature—especially how being born preterm or with low birth weight can increase the likelihood of facing socio-economic or mental health hardship later in life—to identify underexplored areas for future research. As part of the team, she is actively contributing to a paper that aims to bridge these gaps and propose new avenues for policy and intervention. In addition to her research, Claudia serves as a Teen Field Supervisor for After School Matters in Chicago, where she leads efforts to reduce educational inequality. She mentors high school students from under-resourced communities, facilitates professional development, and provides ongoing support to help teens overcome academic and personal barriers. Her work empowers youth with the tools and confidence needed to thrive in and beyond the classroom.
